Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life is also all about fun. From club and camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends.
YOUNG LIFE IN NICARAGUA
In October 1988, Jim and Sarah Hornsby came to Nicaragua to begin a ministry to youth. Jim, a Presbyterian pastor and founder of Habitat for Humanity in Nicaragua was invited to come by the pastor of the Nazarene Church, Amansia Sánchez, Catholic church leaders, and CEPAD. SERVICE AND LEARNING TEAM EXPERIENCES - Vida Joven Nicaragua incorporates Service and Learning Team experiences into its youth program. These mission teams often do work projects at La Finca, our Young Life Camp in the mountains of Nicaragua. Other groups serve in local neighborhoods where Vida Joven has a ministry among the youth.
